We welcome Miss Elena Raki to our administration staff while Ms Serah LeeHang is on leave, returning in Term 4. Here is a little bit about who Miss Raki admires and why
Who do you admire and why?
I admire people I know who work hard daily, to provide for their families. But the key person I admire is my mother. I admire my mother because of her growth, success and service. She is a woman that is passionate about love. If anyone knows my mum, they’ll know how much love she gives to anyone that needs help. My mum who is the greatest woman I admire has taught me that fighting through obstacles no matter how hard it may be, will only make you greater than the person that stays behind the obstacle choosing not to move forward. She has embedded her values into me and that’s why I have grown to take on my own journey just like her. I admire her for her great courage, someone who never gives up and will continue to strive till she is satisfied and happy with what she has done. I admire her for her service in our family and community- this woman will put all things aside to make sure everything is done right. She has so much faith in God and she wants nothing more than for me and my siblings to honour God and attend Sunday mass, to be part of church youth, attend divine mercy and take part in mass- like my brothers as altar servers in our masses, reading the word of God in church and making sure we are living by the good will of Jesus Christ every day. I see her as a great leader, someone who has much potential and a lot to give. That is why I admire my mum and hope to be a mother just like her when I have my own family
