Greetings,
I wish to inform you that the College has taken advice from the Government and the Public Health Board to cancel our College Fiafia Nights scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
Our decision is made out of our great concern for keeping our Staff, students and the wider De La Salle College community safe.
While this is disappointing for the young men, Cultural group tutors and families, our responsibility is to ensure that all involved are not exposed to the risk of catching and spreading the COVID 19 Virus.
The College Board of Trustees have been kept updated and are supportive of the decision to cancel our Fiafia evenings for the safety of our College community.
De La Salle College has come to the decision as have several other Colleges.
We will investigate the possibility of a contingency plan which may allow our groups the opportunity to perform in the future, this of course depends on regulations around the COVID 19 status.
